If you weren’t blessed with piel perfecta, you can still create the illusion with certain makeup helpers.  Herramientas like correctors, primers, loose powder and tinted moisturizers can help you create a flawless canvas that can help you enhance your best features and still look natural.  Take a look below for some of my favorite herramientas.

MD Skincare All-In-One Tinted Moisturizer Sunscreen SPF 15 gives you sun protection and moisturization while giving la piel a hint of skin-perfecting color.  This tinted moisturizer works particularly well on problem skin and is perfect for every day wear.  Added bonus? It’s got two of my favorite antioxidants–vitamins C and E.  It comes in four shades and sells for $44.  You can find it at Sephora and department stores nationwide and here.

*Cover Girl and Olay Simply Ageless Concealer and Corrector diminishes the appearance of even the most severe dark circles under los ojos.  It contains special yellow intensive pigments and Olay Regenerist serum to counteract and neutralize dark circles around los ojos.  This corrector comes in one shade and sells at drugstores nationwide for $10.99.

Laura Mercier Eye Basics corrects imperfections and discolorations of the eye lids.  It goes on creamy but evaporates into a semi-matte finish so you can use this as a base prior to eye shadow or alone for a natural look.   This is also a great product because it keeps eye makeup from running, creasing or fading.  It comes in seven shades and sells for $24 at department stores and Sephora nationwide.  You can also find it here.

Hourglass Veil Invisible Loose Powder sets and brightens la cara with finely milled, sheer coverage.  What’s great about it is that it doesn’t affect the shade of your foundation or blush and gives an overall natural finish.  It is made with no sulfates, synthetic fragrances or dyes, petrochemicals or phthalates.  To use, tap a big brush in the powder, dust off excess on the back of hand and apply to the face.  It sells for $32 and you can find it at Barney’s, Sephora stores nationwide and DermStore.com.
