Just Say Yes To Facial Cleansing Wipes November 24, 2009

I have a confession to make…I hate washing my face at night.  I just hate the idea of having to drag myself to the bathroom, wet my face and apply all those good-for-you beauty products. And going to bed with a dirty face is one of the worst things you can do.  Why? Because all that dirt and makeup does not allow the pores to breathe and you can end up with blackheads and pimples.

Pero ahora, I’ve solved that problem by keeping a stash of cleansing cloths next to my night table.  That way, I can clean my face as I drag the covers on myself.  But you can’t just wipe your face like you’re doing the dishes.  The best way to use these wipes is by pressing it on the face for several seconds before sweeping it off.  That way you allow it to seep into the skin and break down makeup build-up.  This also helps to keep you from rubbing the skin and potentially irritating or tearing it.

Here are three of my favorite wipeys.

MAC Bulk Wipes take everything off, including waterproof mascara! This luxurious facial wipe is super-saturated with a special M·A·C cleanser infused with protective vitamin E to hydrate and nourish skin.  It sells for $24.50 and you can find it here.

Korres Pomegranate Cleansing Wipes gently cleanses and tones the face.  The oil-free formula not only cleanses the skin but leaves it refreshed without a greasy feeling.  It contains pomegranate extract, vitamin E and polyphenols to help diminish the appearance of pore size while neutralizing free radical damage.  It sells for $12 and you can find it here.

Olay Total Effects Age-Defying Wet Cleansing Cloths remove all the makeup and dirt that accumulates on the face without drying the skin.  These cleansing cloths, which I received from the brand’s PR chicas, is perfect for those bellezas who are concerned about multiple signs of aging.  The cloths cleanse the skin and help reduce the appearance of fine lines, enlarged pores and age spots, gives a healthy glow, smooths and evens texture, prevents damage and hydrates skin.  It sells for about $7 and you can find them at drugstores and retail stores nationwide.
